🎨 Art Docent Sign Up & Meeting 2019
8:30am – 9:30am | Room 2
Are you interested in bringing art instruction to your child’s classroom? Our PTA sponsors an Art Docent Program that brings parent volunteers into the classroom for a monthly art lesson. The supplies are funded by the PTA, and the curriculum materials and guidance are available through the art docent program.
To sign up, please talk to your child’s teacher or go to Membership Toolkit and add Art Docent as an event to your signups. Volunteers should also plan to complete the Earhart volunteer procedure before their first art lesson.
Art docents are asked to attend a fall meeting, on the date above, to learn about new additions to the program as well as become familiar with the program guidelines. Anyone who cannot make this date should contact the Art Docent Chair via email to arrange an individual meeting that fits your schedule. At least one docent from each classroom must attend a meeting this fall.
We will meet briefly to discuss how to reserve your dates and materials and what a lesson entails. We will also talk about this year’s important deadlines, especially for the spring art show.
For any questions, contact Jen Huff via email.
Thank you for your interest and participation in the Art Docent program!

2019 Art & Music Show
March is national Youth in Art Month. The show featured both visual art and music from our school. Each class showed an art project completed this year, many from our Art Docent program. Also during the evening, there were music performed by some students. We are proud of our students and their artistic efforts!
Special thank you to our art docent team for preparing an amazing show for Earhart families!
