Our PTA funds provided enrichment & field studies, art, music, outdoor improvement, evening social activities, Multi-Cultural Night, teacher services and support, & more!
The PTA helps to provide field trips and on-site programs that enhance the classroom curriculum. Students have visited Oakland Zoo, San Franciso Opera Guild, Chabot Space & Science Center, Kofman Auditorium and more!
Over the years, state funds for Kindergarten music have been eliminated. The Earhart PTA has stepped in and provides the funding for a music teacher for the kindergarten classes.
The grounds and gardens at Earhart provide a beautiful place to learn and grow. The PTA helps to provide for the care of our grounds and many families and community members volunteer to maintain our campus.
Several times throughout the school year, families can enjoy social activities in the evening. There are movie nights in the multi-purpose room, a Halloween costume party, and an ice cream social. Keep an eye out for the Earhart Express or check out the website for upcoming activities.
Run by parent volunteers, the art docent program provides art lessons for each classroom. Anyone interested in being an art docent can sign up with their child’s teacher. Click for more information …

One of the great things about Earhart school is our diverse population. To celebrate our diversity and learn more about the many cultures of our families, we have multi-cultural night. Come and play games, hear music, see costumes and learn more about the families at Earhart.
The PTA helps to support the teachers through many avenues. Each teacher receives a stipend to help purchase back-to-school supplies every year. PTA also provides copy machines for the school staff (a great cost saver for the school). There are monthly “teacher appreciation” activities for the teachers, in the staff lounge.

The Amelia Earhart Art Show’s unanimous! “Pure Talent.” “These kids are AMAZING!” 20 musicians. 600 pieces of art from all grades. It’s a celebration of the artistic achievements of all Earhart students!
