Alameda Mosaic & ASPED: Support for students and families

Our district PTA (PTAC) is fortunate to have multiple family engagement groups in addition to PTA. These include Alameda MOSAIC, focused around supporting African-American/Black/Multiethnic students and their families, and ASPED, focused on supporting students who receive special education services and their families.
The Alameda Mosaic Educational Advisory Committee is forming to build a community to support our African-American/Black/Multiethnic students and their families. All interested families are invited to join the first event of the year, on the evening of August 31. For more information and to register, click here.
ASPED Families is a volunteer, parent-run group that provides family support, educational events and other opportunities for families with students with disabilities in Alameda. ASPED Families seeks a new chairperson (or ideally two co-chairs) AND additional advisory group members to help lead the group in the 2021-22 school year.
