School Smarts!
Parent involvement in a child’s education is consistently found to be positively associated with a child’s academic performance. But what does that mean exactly, and how do we as parents get involved?
AUSD’s Parent Engagement Program offers School Smarts–a FREE 7-session (1.5 hours per week on Zoom) course designed to foster parent/guardian engagement and create active parent leaders. Participants will learn about a variety of topics that support children’s public school education journey.
Our mission is to support and empower families with the tools they can use to help their children succeed in school and in life. Everyone is welcome!
Info Night is 9/14 and sessions begin on 9/23. Sessions are available in multiple languages: English, Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
