Volunteers Needed for 2021-2022 PTA Board Elections
PTA Executive Board elections will take place at the May 18th PTA meeting (https://fb.me/e/1eD57x8y8), but first we need your help. If you are looking for a way to become more involved at our school, the PTA Executive Board is a great option. Board positions include:
PresidentExecutive Vice PresidentRecording SecretaryTreasurerFinancial SecretaryHistorianVP of Membership
A full description of each position can be found here. Board positions have term limits of 2 years, but are elected annually. Any PTA member is eligible to run for any board position. If you are interested in any of these positions, please contact Jen Russo, communications@earhartpta.org, by Wednesday, March 31st.
We also need volunteers to join our nominating committee. This committee is responsible for developing the nomination slate. Any PTA member is eligible to join the nominating committee. The time commitment includes one Zoom meeting or possibly just email exchange. The committee will convene in early April and be completed after the elections have taken place at the May 18th PTA meeting. If you are interested in joining, please contact Jen Russo, communications@earhartpta.org by Wednesday, March 31st. You are able to join the nominating committee as well as be considered as a candidate.
Additionally, a number of committees are looking for new volunteers. We are hopeful next year will feel a little more “normal” and that our committees will be in full swing again. See all the different committee opportunities at: https://www.earhartpta.
