This Is Your Time: A Conversation With Ruby Bridges and the Alameda Black Achievers Alliance
Celebrating Black History Month
On Saturday, February 27th, Ruby Bridges will join the Alameda Black Achievers Alliance for an interview celebrating Black History Month, as well as discussing her book, This is Your Time.
The book is written as a letter from herself to the reader, a recounting of Ruby’s experience as a child who was chosen to be one of the first black students to integrate into an all-white public school system and an appeal to generations to come to affect change.
