This week’s prize drawing
Students with any reading time logged on Pledgestart will be entered in the drawing. One to two students will be randomly chosen per grade and announced on Friday.
A note about logging reading time
Exact timing is not expected, but realistic estimates are. Parents, please help your children log their minutes, and if they are logging themselves, please review entries periodically. For any questions about tracking reading time, please email readathon@earhartpta.org.
Setting up your website is suuuuper easy!
Go to http://pledgestar.com/amelia.
Select “Not Registered For This Year’s Event.” Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit.”
Follow the instructions on-screen to register Reader(s).
Ways to attract more even donors
If you’ve set up your website and entered your contacts’ information – bravo! You are helping us reach our collective fundraising goal of $80,000. On Sunday, April 2, Pledgestar will automatically send an email reminder to any contacts you’ve entered who have not yet donated. If you want to go above and beyond, here are some ways you can get student’s fundraising link out to even more people:
- Add the fundraising link to your Facebook page.
- Want to share your student’s link on Instagram? The standard link isn’t compatible with Instagram; however, you can create a bit.ly link that will work on Instagram. Thanks to Leah Liebler for discovering this!
- Add the link to your email signature.
- Work in an office? Print a QR code (available on your Pledgestar page) for the link and post it near your desk space.
